Since our previous update, we have continued our mass testing of staff and residents. In our latest round of testing on January 8, all residents and staff tested negative. We will do another round of testing tomorrow on January 15, and as usual, we will communicate individual results with residents and their responsible parties. We will provide a general update after all results are received.
Since our last update we have completed our next round of mass testing and just completed obtaining the results. After this round of testing, we currently have 9 staff and 3 residents that have tested positive. Our next round of testing will take place on December 17…
We wanted to provide you another update on what is going on in our community related to the COVID-19 virus. We continue to have no residents that are showing signs or symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19.
We have recently learned that another one of our employees has tested positive for the virus after being exposed, we believe, outside of our community. This individual has not been in the building since November 1st, and the employee was asymptomatic when last at work. When the staff member was in the building, all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) was used and she practiced good social distancing with others while in the building.
